I have fallen in love with Karina Dresses. These dresses are extremely comfortable and wrinkle free! The fit is made with specific body styles in mind. The Penelope Garden Dress is perfect in fit and style. It is a great dress for an hourglass body shape, inverted triangle shape, triangle shape, oval shape, and rectangle shape! I love the colors and floral pattern.
I love this dress and how it can be dressed up with a pair of flats or heels. The pop of yellow and cobalt blue is a new pairing that I want to try again! This dress can also be dressed down with a jean jacket and a cute pair of white tennis shoes!

The weather in Indiana this weekend was absolutely gorgeous! We had temps in the upper 60’s and we spent most of it outside! With the warmer temps I wanted to pull out this fabulous dress from Karina Dresses. Karina Dresses are made of comfortable materials, can be washed, and don’t wrinkle!
I am wearing the Ruby in Seaside Watercolor. Karina Dresses are made with real women in mind. Within the description of each dress they give you the body types that it will fit the best. The Ruby is a faux wrap dress that is perfect for a hourglass body shape, inverted triangle shape, triangle shape, oval shape, and rectangle shape!
The faux wrap and neckline of this dress gives full coverage. There is no need to tug or adjust constantly throughout the day.
I love the vintage feel of this dress. The attached sash helps define the waist even more with the flared skirt. I couldn’t wait for a warm day to pair this dress with these fun heels from Chinese Laundry! The pop of red screams spring and warmer weather!
As our warm temperatures continue this week. I am hoping to be able to wear this dress to work with a pair of red flats. Which dress is your favorite style and how would you wear this dress?
There is nothing that makes me feel more feminine than a skirt and a pair of heels. Finding a skirt that fits well is hard, but I have found that my favorite style is an a-line. You will see a whole section of this silhouette gracing my closet. I love to pair my skirts with a close-fitting top to keep a sleek look on the top to help balance the fullness of an a-line skirt.
A-line skirts are a girl’s best friend! This cut works for EVERY woman! No matter of your shape, age, or size! Here are the top 6 reasons to wear an a-line skirt:
Gives or accentuates an hourglass figure.
They flow away from hips and thighs.
Helps hide bulges.
Comfortable to wear.
They can be dressed up or down depending what top you wear.
Can be worn with many types of shoes!
This one from StyleWe will have a permanent spot in my closet. I love the fit and pattern! The colors are perfect and I cannot wait to style it in many different ways! What are you favorite types of skirts to wear?

It has been a busy few weeks since I last did an IG Review. We have recently returned from our Disney Vacation. We had an amazing time!!!! I’m debating on doing a post to share some of the tricks we learned while we were there. Let me know if you would like to read more about Disney! Since we have returned, it has been a whirlwind of activity. Soccer games, prepping for Halloween, and the return of one of my brothers from a deployment!
Here are a few looks from the past few weeks. Which one is your favorite?
Today’s guest blogger is Dinah from @stylishprofessor. Dinah is one of my favorite instagram ladies! We’ve become great friends, and best of all we share a love of fashion. Make sure you follow her for great professional and casual looks! Today she is sharing how to style a sleeveless trench 3 ways!
Hi everyone! I’m so honored to be guest posting on Mandy’s blog today. Just a little background to start, Mandy and I first met over a year ago during the big Chicago Instagram meet-up, and we totally hit it off! Since then, we’ve been able to meet up a few more times, and our same-age sons have become fast friends also. The Instagram online community has been a wonderful forum for meeting other fashion-minded friends.
Today I’m sharing 3 ways to wear a sleeveless trench vest. This vest is very trendy this season, and serves as a great transition piece – it adds a tailored look that can be dressed up or down. The one I’m wearing is a little shorter, but some are long enough to be worn alone as a dress. They are also available for every budget – I purchased this one recently at TJ Maxx for just $20!
The first look shows how to incorporate the vest into your work wardrobe. It adds a polished “3rd piece” to a basic skirt and top. It can be worn buttoned and belted, but I prefer to wear it open to show off the rest of the outfit.
The vest can also be worn for evening or date night. I’m wearing this over a basic black dress, but the vest adds an unexpected touch. Pairing this with leopard peep-toes and a sparkly necklace make it suitable for a nice evening out.
Finally, the vest can be dressed down easily. It looks great with a basic tee and jeans,, or with a button down and jeans, as I’m wearing here. Adding a big statement necklace pulls the look together.
I hope you decide to try the trench vest and find one that you love. Thanks so much for reading today!
